RATING ACTION / OUTLOOK

BWR has reaffirmed and simultaneously withdrawn the ratings of 'BWR B-/Stable/BWR A4' under 'issuer not cooperating' category for the bank loan facilities of Balar Synthetics Pvt. Ltd. 

BWR had initially assigned a long term and short term rating of BWR BB+/Stable and BWR A4+, respectively for the bank loan facilities on Nov 24, 2014. The ratings were reaffirmed at BWR BB+/ Stable/ BWR A4+ respectively for the bank loan facilities on June 28, 2016. The ratings were due on June 2017. On August 31, 2017 the rating was downgraded to BWR BB-(Stable)/BWR A4 and placed under 'Issuer not cooperating' category. The long term ratings were further downgraded at BWR B (Stable) and short term ratings reaffirmed at BWR A4 under 'Issuer not cooperating' category on August 18, 2020. The long term ratings were further downgraded to BWR B- (Stable) and short term ratings were reaffirmed at BWR A4 and placed under 'issuer not cooperating' category.   

In response to follow up done with the client for rating review; the client informed that they no longer require the rating and has requested for withdrawal of rating from BWR website via letter dated November 11, 2021. Also, No objection certificate dated November 15, 2021 from the banker has been received. 

Thus, based on the above, rating of the Company is being withdrawn in line with the “Withdrawal Policy of BWR”. The above rating action may not reflect the present position of the Company’s financial risk profile as information availability risk is a key factor in the assessment of credit risk.

ABOUT THE ENTITY

Balar Synthetics Private Limited (BSPL) was incorporated in 1996 by Shri. Suresh Kumar Jain and Shri. Sunil Kumar Jain, with a manufacturing unit located at Bhilwara, Rajasthan. Shri. Suresh Kumar Jain is the Managing Director, and has more than 25 years of experience in the business operations. The company is engaged in manufacturing of synthetic fabrics from polyester viscous yarn, which are primarily used for the manufacturing of suiting. The company also exports~4% of its goods to Dubai, Saudi Arabia, etc., via commission agents. Initially, the company started its weaving operations with 36 looms (Ruti B) which over the period of time has grown to 140 Sulzer looms (Automatic Weaving Machines). BSPL's manufacturing unit has a total installed capacity of 15 Lakhs meters of Synthetics Fabrics per month. Installed capacity utilization is ~76%, manufacturing around 11-12 Lakhs meter suiting.
