Brickwork Ratings has assigned the Long-Term Rating of BWR BBB with a Stable outlook and the Short-Term Rating of BWR A3 for the Bank Loan Facilities amounting to Rs. 162.00 Crore of SRSC Infra Private Limited.
The assignment of the ratings reflects experienced management, established client relationships, robust revenue growth, stable profitability, and a healthy financial risk profile. The ratings also factor in the company’s efficient working capital management and adequate liquidity position. However, the ratings are constrained by high customer concentration risk, execution-related challenges, and vulnerability to government policy and spending cycles.
The “Stable” outlook reflects the expectation of a stable credit profile over the near to medium term
KEY RATING DRIVERS
Credit Strengths:
A seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in the civil infrastructure sector. With this rich experience, the company has successfully executed a diverse portfolio of EPC projects across roads, bridges, and the urban infrastructure sector. Its longstanding association with key government agencies, such as the Public Works Department (PWD), the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), and the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), has contributed to a stable revenue stream, enhancing business visibility and minimizing receivables-related risks.
The Company reported significant revenue growth from Rs 118.77 Cr in FY 2023 to a provisional Rs. 374 Cr in FY 2025, supported by a diversified unexecuted orderbook of Rs. 605 Cr. The order book spans multiple infrastructure segments, offering strong near-term revenue visibility. Despite industry competition and cost pressures, the company maintained healthy EBITDA margins (FY 2025 is 15.57% to FY 2024 is 15.02% ), reflecting disciplined bidding and timely execution efficiencies.
The capital structure remains moderate with a gearing of 1.71x as of FY2025 (Provisional) along with TOL and TNW movement over FY24 is 1.38x, and FY25 is 1.74x. Interest coverage ratio has been healthy at 5.83x, indicating strong debt-servicing ability backed by increasing profitability and internal accruals.
The Company's revenue base is concentrated, with ~87% derived from Top 5 Clients. While these clients are financially stable, the concentration exposes the company to risk associated with delayed payments, slow order inflows, or changes in government priorities.
The company operates in a sector characterized by high working capital requirements and execution risks. Delays in land acquisition, clearances, or cost escalations, especially during monsoon seasons, can impact timelines and fund flows.Due to expansion in Orders the working capital cycle for FY25 stood at 80 days from 52 days in FY24.
Revenue is closely tied to the government infrastructure initiatives. Any slowdown or delay in policy decisions, tendering processes or budget allocations may impact the company's project pipeline and growth tracjectory.
For arriving at its ratings, BWR has considered the Standalone performance of SRSC Infra Pvt Ltd. BWR has applied its rating methodology as detailed in the Rating Criteria (hyperlinks provided at the end of this rationale)
RATING SENSITIVITIES
Positive Triggers:
Sustained improvement in scale of operations, while maintaining current margin profile and maintaining TOL /TNW below 1.05x, would support a positive rating action.
Negative Triggers:
Weakening of capital structure or liquidity reflected in TOL /TNW exceeding 1.75x
Weakening of liquidity profile of the company as reflected in the overall working capital utilization levels, increased to more than 90% on a consistent basis
LIQUIDITY INDICATORS - Adequate
SRSC’s cash and cash equivalents as at FY25 end are Rs 2.56 crs. The company is expected to generate cash accruals of Rs. 46.86 over FY26; against this is term debt servicing requirement during FY26 is Rs. 36crs. BWR notes that the cash balance, along with the cash accruals, is sufficient to meet its near-term debt servicing requirements. Further, the company’s average working capital utilization over the last 12 months ending August 2025 is 50.43% indicating sufficient headroom and availability of limits to meet any cash flow mismatches
